Nichols College

Five Nichols College class of 2021 members honored with the Bison Leadership Award at the Student Leadership Awards Ceremony.

At this year's 9th Annual Elevator Speech Competition, Madeleine Soudant of Great Barrington, MA, was awarded the second-place prize. Soudant is a freshman, doubling majoring in psychology and English, and is an aspiring high school English teacher.

Nicole Carnevale receives the Outstanding Leader Award for the Class of 2024 from Nichols College.

Madison Perrotti receives the Outstanding Leader Award for the Class of 2023 from Nichols College.

Victoria Lussier receives the Outstanding Leader Award for the Class of 2022 from Nichols College.

Linzi Fitzgerald was awarded with the Cheryl Alderman Memorial Award. During her years as Employer Relations Coordinator in the Career and Professional Development Center, Cheryl Alderman loved the Nichols College Community and was passionate about the value of internships for our students. Cheryl was diagnosed with ALS in Spring 2014 and passed away later that year. This award is given in her memory to a student who exemplifies Bison Pride and exhibited leadership, initiative and commitment to excellence during an internship.

Nichols Anderson was awarded the Nichols College, Community Service Leader of the Year Award. This award is given to a student who demonstrates a strong connection to the community through service and leadership.

Emma Dashnaw receives the Shining Star Award. This award is given to a student who embodies the mission of Nichols College and Student Life. This student is active in all aspects of the Nichols College community including: academics, leadership on campus, work study, athletic involvement or support, and cultural development.

Shannon Sly receives the Student Employee of the Year Award.

Taylor Cornell receives the Up & Comer Award from Nichols College.

Ronnie Joseph receives the Outstanding Leader Award for the Class of 2021 from Nichols College.

Matthew Bern is awarded the John F. Birch Memorial Scholarship at the Nichols College annual Academic Awards Ceremony, hosted virtually May 4, 2021.

Zoe Adams is awarded the Class of '55 Professor John Katori Endowed Scholarship at the Nichols College annual Academic Awards Ceremony, hosted virtually May 4, 2021.

Emily Tinyszin is awarded the Massachusetts Association of Accountants Scholarship at the Nichols College annual Academic Awards Ceremony, hosted virtually May 4, 2021.

Kevin Chetwynd is named First-Year Professional Development Seminar Teaching Assistant of the Year by Nichols College.

Shannon Sly is awarded Tutor of the Year from The Academic Resource Center (ARC) at Nichols College. Sly is a senior head tutor and a three-year veteran. She tutors in the subjects of writing and psychology. Sly has a natural talent working with students.
