Nichols College President Bill Pieczynski is pleased to announce the members of the Nichols Senior Advisory Council (NSAC) for 2024-2025. This group of 16 accomplished seniors will meet with the President and members of the President's Council monthly and act as an advisory group as the College plans for the future. "Congratulations to the students selected for this year's NSAC cohort. These are exemplary students, citizens and leaders who have distinguished themselves among a strong senior class," said Pieczynski. "Their insights will be invaluable to the leadership team, and we look forward to hearing their perspectives and learning more about these outstanding students." Upcoming NSAC meetings will include discussions on the College's new initiatives as well as broader trends and issues in higher education. In addition to helping Nichols enhance the overall experience for all members of its community, the meetings are also intended as an opportunity for students to further strengthen their communication and presentation skills, which are critical to career advancement.

Paxton, Mass., native, Tara Ostromecky received top honors at the inaugural LinkedIn Competition hosted by Nichols College on Wednesday November 3rd, 2021. Out of a pool of 18 talented student competitors Ostromecky placed 2nd. Ostromecky shares, "I decided to participate in the LinkedIn competition because I recognize that it is a tool that I can leverage, and I wanted to get feedback on how I could improve my LinkedIn profile and presence."

Louis Denison of Holliston, MA is named treasurer for the class of 2025, Nichols College Student Government Association.

Chelsea Indyk of Easthampton, MA is named secretary for the class of 2025, Nichols College Student Government Association.

Gian Carvajal of Methuen, MA is named vice president for the class of 2025, Nichols College Student Government Association.

Alvin Torres of Lawrence, MA is named president for the class of 2025, Nichols College Student Government Association.

Felicya Decicco of Haverhill, MA is named treasurer for the class of 2024, Nichols College Student Government Association.

Albert Salonis of Dudley, MA is named vice president for the class of 2024, Nichols College Student Government Association.

Nicole Carnevale is vice president of social programming on the executive board for the Nichols College Student Government Association.

Jenna DeLorenzo of Biddeford, ME is named president for the class of 2023, Nichols College Student Government Association.

Ingrid de Souza Oliveira of Berlin, MA is named secretary for the class of 2024, Nichols College Student Government Association. In this role de Souza will work closely with her fellow class officers to serve as a liaison between the administration, class of 2024 students as well as provide special programs for their class.

Deegan Eggleston is named vice president of business affairs on the executive board for the Nichols College Student Governemtn Association.

Moultonborough, New Hampshire, native, Maddie Perrotti received top honors at the inaugural LinkedIn Competition hosted by Nichols College on Wednesday November 3rd, 2021. Out of a pool of 18 talented student competitors Perrotti placed 1st. Perrotti shares, "I decided to participate in the competition because I thought it would be a challenge and I looked forward to getting feedback on how to improve my LinkedIn profile."

Caribou, Maine native, Brooke DeMerchant received top honors at the inaugural LinkedIn Competition hosted by Nichols College on Wednesday November 3rd, 2021. Out of a pool of 18 talented student competitors DeMerchant placed 3rd. DeMerchant shares, "I decided to compete because I felt that my profile was strong, and I thought it would be a fun opportunity to push myself to improve my LinkedIn profile."

This year, the newly established Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (CDEI) at Nichols College created the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advocacy Award to recognize student leadership.
