Linzi Fitzgerald was awarded with the Cheryl Alderman Memorial Award. During her years as Employer Relations Coordinator in the Career and Professional Development Center, Cheryl Alderman loved the Nichols College Community and was passionate about the value of internships for our students. Cheryl was diagnosed with ALS in Spring 2014 and passed away later that year. This award is given in her memory to a student who exemplifies Bison Pride and exhibited leadership, initiative and commitment to excellence during an internship.

Nichols Anderson was awarded the Nichols College, Community Service Leader of the Year Award. This award is given to a student who demonstrates a strong connection to the community through service and leadership.

Emma Dashnaw receives the Shining Star Award. This award is given to a student who embodies the mission of Nichols College and Student Life. This student is active in all aspects of the Nichols College community including: academics, leadership on campus, work study, athletic involvement or support, and cultural development.

Joey McCall, class of 2020, a finance major at Nichols College receives the Intramural Athlete of the Year Award. This award is given to the participant who best demonstrates determination, dedication and competitiveness in a manner in which encourages good sportsmanship and Bison Pride.

Students from Nichols College undertake an amazing immersive educational opportunity to travel to Miami, Florida to volunteer at Super LIV. Here is a highlight of all 16 students participating in this opportunity.

Nichols has named Samantha MacMillan as the valedictorian for the Class of 2015. The valedictorian has the highest GPA in the graduating class. Earlier this year, MacMillan also presented a research poster during the Student Poster Session at the 2015 Joint Mathematics Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. The annual conference is the largest gathering of math professionals in the world.
