When connections, opportunity and preparation meet, exciting things can happen. Just ask Devon Callahan, a senior management major at Nichols College, who landed the internship of a lifetime at Kilkea Castle in Ireland. "I never thought I would ever get a job working for a castle in Ireland, especially not at 22 years old," she says.

Michael Battaini, a Nichols College senior, was recognized by Northwestern Mutual as one of the Top 100 Financial Representative Interns in the country during the fall/winter semester. The Top 100 Interns are invited to a Winter Camp, from February 27 - 29, in Milwaukee, Wis., to learn from top financial representatives, advisors, and leaders in the Northwestern Mutual system. Participants will network and connect with other interns across the country, as well as create goals and a vision for future career success.

Thirty-three Nichols College students have taken on internships for the Spring semester with various companies, agencies, and organizations. Students can obtain internships starting sophomore year. Internships prepare students for professional work environments and give them an advantage in the job market following graduation.

Almost two dozen Nichols College Students have received internships in their fields of study for the Fall 2013 semester. Internships allow students to apply their classroom experiences and knowledge to excel in a real world business or organizational environment.
