At this year's 9th Annual Elevator Speech Competition, Olivia Antonson of Thompson, CT was a awarded the first-place prize. The theme of her speech was the importance of going outside of your comfort zone.

Each year the English Department is awarded to a deserving English major, this year there are two recipients, Abby Stansky and Jacob White.

Many hard-working students at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., have achieved Dean's List or President's List honors during the spring 2020 semester. The Dean's List and President's List give recognition to those students who achieve high grades during a single semester. In order to be included on the Dean's List, a student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for at least 12 undergraduate credit-hours and must have received no grades below B- during the semester. Students whose semester grade point average is 3.85 or higher for at least 12 undergraduate credit-hours and no grades below B- will receive President's List honors.

Seventeen Nichols College students were recognized at the Academic Awards ceremony this spring. Their awards cover a variety of acheivements, including overall academic achievement as well as excellence in specific majors such as English, Mathematics, Economics, Criminal Justice Management, and Business.

Twenty-two Nichols College graduates were honored at the 2014 commencement ceremonies with individual awards hat ranged from academic excellence to outstanding service to the Nichols College community.

A three-year grant from the Davis Educational Foundation based in Yarmouth, Maine is helping to fund a Nichols initiative to develop student leadership skills in a range of part-time jobs around campus.

At its Commencement on May 11th and in a ceremony held earlier in the spring, Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts presented awards for individual achievement. These awards range from accomplishments in students' major areas of study to recognition for significant contributions made to the college community.
