Rochester Resident Named 10 Under 10 Honoree
Nichols College DJ Goldstein, Executive Director of Watermark Retirement Communities
Dudley, MA (08/17/2021) — DJ Goldstein, a Rochester, N.Y. resident and Executive Director for Watermark Retirement Communities is named a 10 Under 10 honoree by Nichols College. This year the 10 Under 10 Award was created to recognize GOLD graduates (Graduates Of the Last Decade) for outstanding accomplishments in leadership, service, career and character. Our first class of leaders includes a police officer, entrepreneur, business owner, national security analyst, and a VIP executive with the Boston Celtics. Awardees were honored in a virtual ceremony on July 29, 2021.
In his role, Goldstein has had to make tough decisions, especially to ensure the health and safety of the residents while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. As a captain on the men's hockey team, Goldstein was also a leader at Nichols and today serves as a mentor and supporter of the program, sponsoring a yearly team dinner where he gets to meet the current players.
Goldstein commented, "When I was notified that I was a 10 Under 10 awardee, I immediately thought of how grateful I was that I found Nichols. Nichols is the people; without the people Nichols wouldn't be the community that it is. This is what makes Nichols so very special."
