Cumberland Resident Named 10 Under 10 Honoree
Nichols College recognizes Paul Parks III
Dudley, MA (08/17/2021) — Paul Parks III, a Cumberland, R.I., resident and entrepreneur is named a 10 Under 10 honoree by Nichols College. Parks is the Owner of Frisbie's Dairy Barn located in New Britain, Conn., and the General Manager of Luna's Waffles & Cream in North Attleborough, Mass. This year the 10 Under 10 Award was created to recognize GOLD graduates (Graduates Of the Last Decade) for outstanding accomplishments in leadership, service, career and character. Our first class of leaders includes a police officer, entrepreneur, business owner, national security analyst, and a VIP executive with the Boston Celtics. Awardees were honored in a virtual ceremony on July 29, 2021.
Parks is a driven entrepreneur. At Nichols, he had an opportunity to work on a consulting project for Mike Frisbie '90, owner of Frisbie's Dairy Barn, which led to Paul purchasing the business from Mike in 2020. His nominators described him as versatile, powerful, full of energy and someone who puts others before himself.
Parks commented, "Nichols College is very big reason I am the person I am today. Previously, I was a martial arts instructor dead set on not attending college and working full time as an instructor. My dad very quickly told me that wasn't an option and I'm so glad that he did. Thank you to my dad who made sure I went to college and helped me along the way."
